For over 20 years, Outright VT has worked to make it better for youth in schools. They advocate, educate, and consult with students, staff, and administrators statewide to ensure Vermont schools are doing their work to be safe, supportive, and affirming to all students regardless of their perceived or actual gender and sexual identity.
Outright Vermont aims to help educators and students change the climate in their schools by providing:
- Trainings, Workshops & Consultations for teachers, administrators, counselors, and students in a variety of settings
- Leadership development and organizing opportunities for students and advisors
- Statewide learning opportunities and network building
- Peer Education & Youth Advocacy Initiatives
